Teej 2013 was celebrated on Saturday 7th of September at Mt Albert War Memorial Hall, Rocket Park. The colourful event was started with welcome speech by the NZNS President, Mr Uddhav Adhikary. The program then featured a Teej related poem from Mr. Pitambar Sharma Dahal, a Teej specific quiz for children and Teej Songs and dance. It was great to see so many women enjoying themselves in their colourful sarees and dresses. Dinner was followed by more dances and songs.
